I make fancy looking meals in record breaking time. Most of my food finishes cooking by the time my rice cooker sings. You, too, can make delicious meals for your family by learning my trade in the kitchen.

Hi, my name is Chi (Chi like Kimchi). I live in Brooklyn with a toddler and a picky eater (my partner). I am a pandemic-made stay at home mom and I love to cook for my family. As reminded daily by my partner: “how did you make it so fast?” — well, let’s just say that I am an expert at cutting corners. I rarely follow a recipe to the tee, and love to cheat my way out of a lengthy process and narrow the ingredients down to a minimum.

I am also extremely frugal. My food waste is minimal and the trim off is usually recycled for a different dish. You’ll see what I mean. If you can relate to any of the above, let’s be friends! New recipes will be up every Wednesday (or more if I am good at documenting).
